Killer Bubbles!

Make really huge bubbles with this recipe.

  1. Mix 10 percent liquid dishwashing detergent (Dawn or Joy are considered the best) by volume with 84 percent distilled water (available in grocery stores) and 6 percent glycerin (available in drugstores).
  2. Stir. Do not shake or excess bubbles will be produced. Do not use low-sudsing detergent. If you get any suds on top, skim them off with your hand before using.
  3. For very dry days, add 10%-50% more water.
  4. Bubbles thrive in high humidity. On dry days it is still usually humid enough early in the morning.

Stuff to use to make bubbles: Coat hangers (bend into a circle), Tin Cans, Plastic Six-Pack Holder, Your Hands, A Funnel.
