Killer Bubbles!
Make really huge bubbles with this recipe.
- Mix 10 percent liquid dishwashing detergent (Dawn or Joy are considered
the best) by volume with 84 percent distilled water (available
in grocery stores) and 6 percent glycerin (available in drugstores).
- Stir. Do not shake or excess bubbles will be produced. Do not
use low-sudsing detergent. If you get any suds on top, skim them
off with your hand before using.
- For very dry days, add 10%-50% more water.
- Bubbles thrive in high humidity. On dry days it is still usually
humid enough early in the morning.
Stuff to use to make bubbles: Coat hangers (bend into a circle),
Tin Cans, Plastic Six-Pack Holder, Your Hands, A Funnel.
